Memorial Event Held in Nepal Office
To pay tribute to compatriots and martyrs who passed away after contracting the coronavirus or while battling the epidemic
With the epidemic, Qingming , the day people pay tribute to their beloved ones who passed away, this year is doomed to be much heavier than previous years . This year, it’s also a day of national mourning for citizens who died of COVID-19 . At 7:45am(NPT) on April 4, 2020, all Chinese employees of Hehcuan’s Nepal office watched CCTV, under the leadership of Mr. Liu Jianxin, Chairman of SHIC, and Mr.Jing Zheng, director of regional office . The nationwide mourning event was broadcast live, and a three-minute silence was held for all compatriots and martyrs who passed away after contracting the coronavirus or while battling the epidemic.
After the silent mourning event, Chairman Liu Jianxin said that the deceased rest in peace and the living forge ahead. We should turn grief into strength, turn the mourning into a motivation for struggle, do a good job in project construction, and devote to development of the group and the society. He also emphasized that as one of Chinese-funded enterprises in Nepal, the more special period we were in, the better example we should keep. Mr. Jing Zheng also said that this mourning event delivered strength and faith to us. He hoped that everyone will fear no hardship and carry forward perseverance, to improve prevention and control of epidemics in a rigorous and meticulous manner and to scientifically arrange the production.
At present, Nepal is under national lockdown to prevent wide spread of the epidemic. But the situation is severe, as local medical and health conditions are poor, and the living materials are extremely scarce. Despite being in such a difficult environment, all employees of Hechuan in Nepal has actively donated money to the motherland, and money and medical materials too to the local government of Nepal, which has achieved good social response. Now China has successfully stopped spread of the epidemic, and Nepal is at a critical moment. We should keep in mind that there is a powerful motherland behind us, and we are with our motherland! We also firmly believe that Shuifa Group is the strong backing of all Shuifa people!
